This time, I chose to do exploration number 11: COLLECT MULTIPLES OF ONE THING (SUCH AS LEAVES, STONES, SHELLS, SEEDS, ETC.). LAY THEM OUT IN FRONT OF YOU. OBSERVE THEM IN DETAIL. USING THE ”OBJECT LOG”. LIST THE DIFFERENCES YOU SEE. TRY TO DOCUMENT AT LEAST TWENTY-FIVE THINGS.
My family has been collecting stones for many years. We travelled to many different countries and found special stones there. As a result of a big collection of stones.
I selected a few stones:
- Drawing on the stone
- Emotional effect
- Location where they were found
- Hydraulic conductivity
- Color change by hitting water
- Stratification in color
It took a certain amount of time to document at least twenty-five differences. You really have to concentrate to see things I didn’t see at first. Before this exploration, I never looked at stones at quite this intense. In my view, it was a nice, but challenging exploration.
