WHAT IS NEXT COCKTAIL?
A machine, which converts random tweets from around the world into appetizing cocktails. It’s an invention from Clément Gault and Koi Koi Design, resulting from a workshop with the theme; an actual representation of data through senses other than sight. At first it was designed to convert Twitter’s political conversations of the elections in France, into taste. But after a while, Gault overthrew the idea and magnified the project’s scope as a smart all-inclusive data reader.
HOW IS A COCKTAIL FROM DATA COCKTAIL CREATED?
This unique kind of drink is created by searching for the five, latest random tweets on Twitter across the globe. These tweets will include an accessible ingredient from the machine. After searching the tweets, all the ingredients will be mixed together to create an accidental concoction. On top of that, Data Cocktail can print the recipe along with the corresponding messages and will thank the tweeters, who have helped at realizing the unplanned cocktail.
WHY IS IT COOL?
Through all the possibilities of The Open World, for example the realization that Google has the power to steal our private information, the Data Cocktail can make these special concoctions. Across the world, there are 320 million active users on the social media platform Twitter. Because of this huge amount, it’s not very challenging to find a viable ingredient. The machine collaborates with the tweeters, who share their message without knowing it. Furthermore, the apparatus is a very exclusive way to make cocktails and gives the tweeter an experience like no other.
WHAT WILL COME NEXT?
Data Cocktail works in six languages and can modify very easily. The latest tweets will be translated into ‘Data Cocktail language’ to become the rare mixture. Because of the growth in technologization, community will feel a humongous expectation about looking to an existent object with other eyes.
